Apostle Edward L. Thomas is the founder of The First Bible Church of Christ, which is located at 339 Turtle Creek Lane, St. Rose, Louisiana. The church promotes and adheres to the following:

Mission:

God sent us to preach and to teach all the world. Reaching out to touch everyone, our goal is to teach the Bible by rightly dividing the truth and teaching the purpose to God’s people for their lives:

Through Bible Study and knowing His word in devotion and worship
By applying His word in fellowship and caring
And by proclaiming His word in evangelism and mission

Vision and Goals Statement:

We will work toward acknowledging God as the center and priority in our lives. We will endeavor to develop faithful members who will grow spiritually through participation in worship, education, stewardship, mission, and fellowship. In obedience, we will enjoy the abundance of God’s kingdom on earth. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will encourage our members to progress from having belief and confidence in Christ to putting His teachings into daily practice. As a natural outcome of our spiritual journeys, we will reach out to others to bring them into the fellowship of believers.

Through stewardship of our time, talents and treasures, and in the care of our property, we accept our responsibility for God's creation and the blessings bestowed on us.

Through a commitment to holistic health, we seek to continue the healing mission of Jesus Christ.
